Members Welfare Kitty

1. 1. Console the family in case of a member’s demise. The family of the deceased is given Kshs. 150,000 (Kenya shillings one hundred and fifty thousand).
  2. Write off the deceased member’s loans.
  3. Double the deceased member’s deposits due for refund to the beneficiaries.
  4. Enrollment process: requirements, forms, fees and charges (tariff guide).

Pongea Medical Kitty

Assist members to pay their medical bills after exhausting their personal health insurance and government managed health insurance allotment up to a tune of kes 1.2 Million. The welfare support members who are referred for specialized treatment. Members who are diagnosed with cancer are given an upkeep of Kshs. 300,000.

Admission into Class A Members

An applicant shall be admitted as a Class A member upon payment of the following fees (which might change from time to time).

Entrance fee of Ksh 360.
Minimum nominal shares of Ksh 20 of 500 shares (Ksh 30,000).
